Timothy L. Skelly, 65, of Dunkirk, passed away on Tuesday on February 3, 2026. Born in Dunkirk on April 4, 1960, he was the husband of Debbie (Blanchard) Skelly and son of Ronald and Alice (Jacobs) Skelly.

A lifelong resident of the Dunkirk and Fredonia area. For many years, he served as the Maintenance Manager for Brigham Road Apartments, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Timothy's skills extended beyond his professional role; he was also known to take on various carpentry jobs, showcasing his craftsmanship and commitment to quality.

Known for his friendly demeanor, Timothy possessed a delightful sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. He had an innate ability to make others laugh and was always ready to lend a helping hand, fostering happiness wherever he went.

Timothy cherished spending time with his family. His loved ones were a significant part of his happiness, and he found joy in creating lasting memories with them. He was also a devoted dog owner, sharing a special bond with his beloved dog, Blossom.

He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on his boat, relishing the tranquility that nature provided. He also delighted in camping, hunting and had a particular fondness for listening to classic rock.

Tim is survived by his wife of 39 years Debbie (Blanchard) Skelly, children Kelly (Andrew) DeYoung of Akron, NY, Erica (Dave) Bloomberg of Oneida, TN, Tim (Jackie) Skelly of Westfield, NY, Breana (George) Phillips of Stockton, NY; 8 grandchildren; siblings Ron (Michele) Skelly of Perry, NY, Edward (Rebecca) Skelly of Dunkirk, NY, John (Amanda) Skelly of Dunkirk, NY and Sherri Fisher of Dunkirk, NY. Tim is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom he lovingly referred to as "Clowns".

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his son Jacob Skelly.

Funeral services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tim's memory to the Chautauqua County Humane Society; 2825 Strunk Rd, Jamestown, NY.
