Thomas J. Proctor, Sr.

Thomas J. Proctor, Sr., 67, of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born on March 29, 1959 in Dunkirk, son of the late Harold and Eva Mae Proctor. 

Thomas served in the United States Marine Corps beginning in 1976. He later worked for many years as a contractor. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his children, Monica, Thomas Jr., and Sara, and found great joy in being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, baking, and cooking, and will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the time they spent together. 

Survivors include his loving partner of 10 years, Linette Briscoe, children Monica (late Robert) Grover, Thomas Proctor, Jr. and Sara (late Roy) Grover; grandchildren Christopher Grover, Alyssa Grover, Elizabeth Grover, Cadan Proctor, John Proctor, Isabella Grover, Roy Grover, Jr., Piper Grover, Chloe Grover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Felsman and Kathy Matthews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Funeral Services on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY. Military Honors will begin at 11 a.m. held by the Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
