Stephen L. Bonner

Stephen Bonner, 65, of Dunkirk, NY passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center with his loving family by his side. In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Marie. Stephen is survived by his sister Dorothy (Kirk) Bennett and step sister Diann (Michael) Inch, nephews, and great nephews.

Earlier Stephen was musically and artistically inclined and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, listening to music and was an avid reader. He worked several jobs through the years and he liked watching sporting events and was a New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills enthusiast. He enjoyed morning walks, his time at Matt’s News along with his morning coffee with his friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 9-10 a.m. at R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the BMA Roman Catholic Church of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery.
