Stanley Smith III

Stanley V. Smith III, 53, of Arkwright, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born on February 23, 1973 in Westfield, NY, he was the son of Stanley Smith Jr and the late Sally (Best) Smith.

Stanley was a talented craftsman, known for his exceptional woodworking skills. He dedicated his career to Chautauqua Woods and Ethan Allen, and he also took great pride in working on his personal projects that showcased his artistry and passion for creating beautiful pieces. He was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. Survivors include his son Quinton Smith, father Stanley Smith Jr., and his sister Tammy Teculver. He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sally Smith and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Stockton, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY
