Samuel C Spera

Samuel C. Spera, 60, of Westfield, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at home.

Born in Dunkirk, Sept. 22, 1962, son of the late Anthony and Jennie (Ingavo) Spera.

A past employee of the former Carriage House in Fredonia, until its closing, and now worked at the Green Meadows Golf Course in North East.

Sam enjoyed to golf, play baseball and was an avid Cowboy’s fan.

His memberships past and present include several area clubs and Holy Trinity R.C. Church.

Surviving is his sister, Angela (late Robert) Torrance of Dunkirk; brothers: Robert (Mary) Spera of Fredonia, and Dean (Becky) Spera of Arizona; sister, Geraldine Patronski; nephews: Robert (Clarrisa) Torrance III, Joshua (Caitlin) Torrance and Brandon Torrance; nieces Lindsey (Geoffrey) Butlak and Ivy Spera,; two great-nephews and a great-niece.

Preceded by his parents the late Anthony and Jennie (Ingavo) Spera; and brother-in-law, Robert Torrance Jr.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday. Nov. 2, from 3-6 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E/ Doughty St., Dunkirk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society, 432 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk.
