Robert M. Kokocinski, Jr.

Robert M. “Bobby” Kokocinski Jr., 22, of Dunkirk, died Wednesday evening, April 4, 2018, following a sudden illness at Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born March 4, 1996, in Dunkirk, son of Sharon J. (Krzyzanowicz) Kokocinski and the late Robert M. Kokocinski Sr., who died March 6, 2016.

A graduate of Dunkirk High School Class of 2014, he was an employee of Nuisance No More Pest Control in Dunkirk.

Bobby enjoyed dancing, fourwheeling, jet skiing, fishing, pull tabs and his canine buddies Mia and Willow.

His memberships include Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig, Kosciuszko Club, First Ward Falcons Club, Forth Ward Falcons Club, Monisuszko Club, WWII Vets, Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club and Lakeside Club.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters Nicole (Mark) Dobek, Samantha (Chris) Tofil and maternal grandfather Norman Krzyzanowicz, all of Dunkirk, and nephew Mariusz Dobek, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many amazing friends.Preceded in death in addition to his father are his maternal grandmother Elizabeth (Stranz) Krzyzanowicz, paternal grandparents Michael and Dorothy (Lentz) Kokocinski, and uncle Robert A. Krzyzanowicz.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk, a Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Private interment will be held in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut Street, Dunkirk, NY 14048.
