Phyllis J. Kosciuszko

Phyllis J. Kosciuszko, 84, of Dunkirk, died at Brooks Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dunkirk, June 19, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Banach) Jopek.

A graduate of Dunkirk High School. Phyllis retired from CARTS in Dunkirk and previously worked at ATT as an operator, Secretary forFredonia Telephone, Executive Secretary at Fredonia Seed, Nurses Aide at St. Columbans on the Lake. She enjoyed knitting, cooking gardening and painting any wall in her home.

Her memberships include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church.

Surviving is her loving daughter Susan Kosciuszko of Dunkirk. Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her husband Richard Kosciuszko, who died December 9, 2011, along with two sisters and her K9 Companion “Muffin”.

No Calling Hours will be observed.Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church and Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
