Mary Ann Larson, 85, of Dunkirk, died, unexpectedly, Thursday morning, March 30, 2017.
She was born September 14, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Anthony and
Cecile (Zielinski) Domst.
A retired employee of the former M. Wile Plant in Dunkirk.
An avid quilter, Mary Ann also enjoyed golfing, needle work, to ride her bicycle, watch birds,
bowling and more. A devote stay at home mom that would do what had to be done for her
family.
Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hyacinth, and
Choir at St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Fredonia.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years William Larson Jr., whom she married January 6, 1951,
their children Linda Larson of Stockton, son in law Stanley Phelka Jr. of Fredonia, Robert
Larson of Buffalo, Katie Ellis of Palmyra,VA, Jim (Ginny) Larson of Dunkirk, Daniel A (Sunny)
Larson of Fairborn, Oh, Amy Jo (Wayne) Dorler of Stockton, a sister Dolores Wallace of Fredonia,
20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death in addition to her parents are a daughter Christine Phelka who died January
25, 2014 and brothers Thomas and Anthony Domst.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral
Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10 AM in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church
of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to a charity of ones choice.
