Marvin W. Gillson

Marvin W. Gillson, 84, of Dunkirk passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born July 31,1936, in Olean, N.Y,. son of the late Russell and Norma (Root) Gillson.

He is survived by his brother, Doug Gillson of Arizona; his in-laws; Carol and Tim Smith, Sharon Ahrens, Tammie and Joel Ahrens and Robert and Jean Horey. Also surviving are nieces and nephews and many good friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife Edna (Tomkiewicz) Gillson and his first wife Linda (Ahrens) Gillson, whom he remarried in 1998; an infant son, Kenneth Gillson, deceased in 1960; a brother Clem Gillson; a sister Jeanne Gillson and brother in law Glenn Ahrens.

Marvin’s final resting place will be El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego, Calif.
