Marshall A. Penkaty, 82, a lifelong resident of Dunkirk, died Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab.3
He was born in Dunkirk, March 29, 1939, son of the late Frank and Theodora (Jakubiec) Penkaty.
Marshall loved fishing and spent many years as a commercial fisherman on Lake Erie.
A volunteer fireman serving with Dunkirk Hose Company #4, also a member the Hose Company #4 Drum and Bugle Corp
along with many local area clubs.
Marshall was a kind man who loved animals and had many cats and dogs during his life.
Surviving is his brother Frank and sister in law Anne Penkaty of Webster, NY, niece Laura Baylor and nephew Frank (Jamie)
Penkaty III, along with several grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 3-6 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E Doughty St. A mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 AM at Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth.
Memorials can be made to the Lake Shore Humane Society, 431 E Chestnut St, or St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, 295 Lake
