Lois Ann (Steen) Rosario, 74, of Fredonia, passed away suddenly at home following a long illness on Friday, December 19, 2025. Born in Jamestown, NY on September 2, 1951, she was the wife of Miguel "Mike" Rosario and daughter of the late Richard and Betty (Spillman) Steen. 

Lois was a lifelong resident of Fredonia. She dedicated 28 years to Ralston Purina, where she worked diligently and retired as a Supervisor.

A devout Christian, Lois’s faith guided her principles and actions, serving as a foundation from which her love and compassion blossomed.

Lois was known for her unwavering reach of love and support within her family. She found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were not just an aspect of her life but her entire world.

Her home was a welcoming sanctuary for family gatherings, where every celebration was thoughtfully hosted by her. A pillar of strength and affection, she was regarded as the "stone of the family," always extending her caring nature to those around her.

In her leisure time, Lois enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories through vacations. She also looked forward to her weekly gatherings at the "Coffee Club" with her friends.

Lois is survived by her loving Husband, Miguel "Mike" Rosario and her loving children Renee Evans and Holly Postell; step-children Sarah Rosario and Michael (Kim Creeley) Rosario; grandchildren Vanessa Pagan, Nachelle (David) Alvalle, Anthony (Allison) Lokotnicki, James Brandon (Cristy) Postell, Aylissa (Deon) Stanford, Briana Postell, Kylee Evans, Sara and Abbey Rosario; great-grandchildren Davian and Matthew Alvalle, Ela , Ava and Myah Postell and her sister Becky (late David) Price. She is also survived by many close friends, nieces, nephews and her Canine Companion Tiger. 

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY. Prayer services will begin at 12:45 p.m. Interment will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery.
