Julian "Jug" Niedbalski passed away unexpectedly on April 27 at the
age of 89 due to a heart attack.
He was born April 7, 1934, in Oil City, PA, son of the late Joseph F.
and  Angela (Bielek) Niedbalski.
For those who knew Julian, he never lacked for conversation, but
yet he remained a very private man. He enjoyed all the simple
pleasures of life and loved the outdoors.
He served in the US Army in WWII as a Communications Operator.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved baseball, tennis, basketball,
and music. Above all, Julian was most proud of volunteering his time
with the Chautauqua County Home and the Department of Aging.
He was recognized and honored with the President’s Volunteer
Service Award.
Surviving are his stepchildren Edward Sosinski of Henderson, NV
(Margo, Robert), Helen Bartlett of Kansas City, KS (David, Jordan, Jessica),
and Suzanne Hoeft of Waynesboro, VA (Michael, Mark).
Julian is preceded in death in addition to his parents by his wife
Jeannette (Zyznowski) Niedbalski and his brother Joseph F. Niedbalski, Jr.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to both Fredonia Place
and Brooks Memorial Hospital for their care, kindness, and professionalism
in caring for Julian.
Julian’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at the Blessed
Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth,  295 E. Lake Shore Dr.
