Jose S. "Cheo" Cruz

Jose S. "Cheo" Cruz, 56, of Dunkirk, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at home. Born Dec. 29, 1958, in Ponce, PR, son of Rosa Sanchaz and Juan Cruz. An employee of Nathan Bell Farms, Jose had a green thumb and enjoyed working on the farm and on cars. Surviving are children Jose Cruz of GA and Rosalind Cruz of FL, and 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 brothers and his father. Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E. Doughty St., Wednesday from 2-4 p.m.
