James G. Sullivan

James "Sully" G. Sullivan 79, of Largo, FL, passed away on February 7, 2026. He was born in Dunkirk, NY.

James finished his bachelor's degree at University of South Florida. He worked as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, and was a commissioner of the VFW as well as a hall of fame wheelchair bowler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sullivan and his mother, Esther Sullivan; his daughter, Jessica Plumley; and his son, Jamie Sullivan.

James is survived by siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, February 21st from 10am-12pm at. R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY. Prayer services will begin at noon with Military Honors immediately following held by the Dunkirk Joint Veteran Council He will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY.
