Florence Theresa (Moch) Cybart was reunited with the love of her life, Richard John Cybart, on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at the age of 96.
Florence was born on January 27, 1930 in Buffalo, NY to the late Stanley and Lucia (Pauszek) Moch. After the family left Buffalo, they lived on the family farm in Sheridan before moving to Dunkirk, where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a resident of the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center for the past three years, where she was cared for by some of the most caring and loving people. Our family is most appreciative of the love that she was given while there.
Florence is survived by her children Paul (Marylyn), Deborah (Paul) Amidon, Judy (Rick) Westling, and Mark (Cindy), as well as her daughter-in-law Traci. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Scott, Gwen and Joshua (Sarah) Cybart; David (Heather), Matthew Amidon, and Jessica (Michael) Romano; Bryan, Nathan and Jacob Westling; Stephanie Cybart and Rachel (Andrew) Welton; and Hannah and Caitlyn Cybart. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Aiden and Alexander Amidon, and Everly, Scarlett and Ryder Cybart. Lastly, she is survived by her sister-in-law Geraldine (Zielinski) Moch.
In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard, and her son Joel. She was also predeceased by her brothers Ralph and Norman Moch, as well as her sister-in-law Jane (Schrantz) Moch.
Florence was a graduate of St. Hyacinth’s School and Dunkirk High School. After graduation she went on to work at Van Raalte in the office. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She was a long-time member of St. Hyacinth’s Parish, where she and her husband worked the hamburger stand at the Parish Festival for many years. Any event that the Parish had, Florence was sure to bake whatever was needed.
