Ellen Rozumalski

Ellen Marie Rozumalski 70, passed peacefully Sunday November 30, 2025 at LECOM Village Square in Erie.

Ellen was born May 16, 1955 in Lackawanna, daughter of Richard and Sophie (Polowy) Rozumalski.

Ellen attended St Hyacinth's school and was a 1973 graduate of Dunkirk High School.

Ellen was a woman of profound faith who visited numerous shrines over the years and her most memorable trip was to the Holy Land.

A lifelong member of St Hyacinth’s Church, due to her failing health and limited mobility Ellen found peace in watching daily mass on EWTN. Ellen was most grateful to the many Eucharistic ministers and priests who visited her weekly and shared the gift of holy communion and the sacrament of penance.

Ellen’s hobby was attending bingo on a regular basis with great luck. Ellen also looked forward to a visit with her cousin and sharing a good cup of Tim Hortons coffee and sweets.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Blessed Mary Angela Roman Catholic Church of St Hyacinth; 295 Lake Shore Dr. East Dunkirk, NY on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment will be held privately in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY.
