David L. Corsi

David Lee CorsiDavid Lee Corsi, 69, of Sheridan, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Oct. 3, 2021, at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, N.Y. with his daughter, Jennifer by his side.

He was born April 22, 1952, in Bradford, Pa., the son of the late Samuel W. and Jane Catherine Corsi.

David attended Silver Creek Central School, and worked at the family’s grocery store, the Pennysaver Supermarket in Sheridan, N.Y. Afterwards he worked in the oil and gas fields for various companies.

He took great pleasure in the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. Time spent on Cranberry and Canada Lakes with his daughter and her family, his brothers and nieces were some of his fondest memories. Each summer he enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. What he enjoyed most was caring for and watching over his grandchildren.He shared in all their accomplishments with great pride and enthusiasm.

David shared his knowledge and his time enthusiastically helping others; building with his brother and helping his sister on the farm. When needed he moved home to help care for his aging father.

Surviving are his brother, Samuel W. Corsi Jr. of Little Falls, N.Y. (Colleen); a sister, Mollie Cotton of Fredonia, N.Y. his daughter, Jennifer Corsi (Jay Jacques); a son, David L. Corsi; grandchildren: Tyler, Siera and Trevor Jacques of Dunkirk. Preceded in death, in addition to his parents was his brother Peter M.Corsi.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
