Cynthia G. Pett

Cynthia G. Pett, 71, of Fredonia NY, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at Brooks Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 20, 1949, in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Edmund and Shirley (Pawlik) Szwejbka.

Cynthia enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Throughout her career Cynthia always strived to further her education, achieving her masters degree later in life.

Surviving are her two brothers: Mark (Sue) Szwejbka of Maryland, and Ronald (Barbara) Szwejbka of Dunkirk; caregiver/ niece, Amber (Todd) Norton; great nephew, Michael Norton; great-niece, Natalie Norton; as well as several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund E. Szwejbka.

To honor Cynthia’s wishes, there will be no memorial service observed.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
