Christine M. Sell

Christine M.Sell, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Monday January, 6th 2025.Born in Dunkirk on July 5th 1964, daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy(Kokocinski) Sell.

Christine graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1982 and attended Jamestown Business College for Business Administration. Christine was an administrative assistant for The Lord’s Vineyard. Prior to TheLord’s Vineyard she worked as a Classified Ads Specialist at the Dunkirk Observer. She also was a long time employee of Quality Markets and Bell’s Supermarket. 

Christine was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and proud member of the Bill’s Mafia. Go Bills! She was also a huge Toronto Argonauts fan. Christine was a long time member of the Southern Tier Bills Booster Club. She enjoyed collecting Hallmark Keepsake ornaments and spending time with family and friends. Christine was always ready to lend a hand and help those in need. Some of her hobbies included photography, playing Bingo Blitz and Fantasy Football. She was also a big Star Wars and Star Trek fan.

Christine is survived by her two sisters, Maureen Kowarko of Huntsville, AL, and Diane Karalus of Dunkirk, NY, four nieces, Jessica Kowarko of Arcade, NY, Bethany Kowarko of Sevierville, Stephanie Kowarko both of Sevierville, TN and Katelyn Karalus of Dunkirk, NY and one nephew, Mark Karalus of Orchard Park, NY. She is also survived by one great niece, Alayna Luce and two great nephews, Camryn Bennice and Cyrus Kowarko. 

Relatives and friends may call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., TODAY, Friday, January 10, 2025 from 2pm-5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment will be at St. Mary’s cemetery.
