Bruce Lichtenberger, 59, was born on October 12, 1966, and passed away on August 30, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Mary Lou Nichols Lichtenberger, who passed away on December 23, 1997.
Bruce was a one-of-a-kind person who brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. He was humorous, mostly a joker, and always ready to talk with others. His friendly nature made it easy for people to feel comfortable around him, and he had a way of making those around him smile.
Bruce enjoyed many simple things in life. He loved music and computers, and he was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Some of his happiest moments were spent simply being with family—sitting around, playing cards, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. He didn't need anything fancy to have a good time. For Bruce, being together was what mattered.
Bruce had worked at a winery on Old Route 20 in Westfield, New York. After the winery closed, Bruce went on to help his first cousin, James Jones, at his car shop. Their time working together was another special part of Bruce's life, combining family, friendship, and the everyday moments that meant so much to him.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His cousins and loved ones are left behind with memories of his jokes, his conversations, his laughter, and the love he showed in his own casual but genuine way.
Bruce had a spiritual side and carried his own understanding of life and faith. May he now find the peace he deserves, reunited with his mother, Mary Lou, and those who went before him.
Bruce will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the laughter, friendship, and moments of togetherness he gave to others.
