Brian W. Hobbs, 61, passed away on March 13, 2022, from an unexpected heart attack.

Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community.

He was born in Dunkirk, N.Y., on Dec. 6, 1960.

A lifelong area resident, Brian graduated with the DHS class of 1979. He enjoyed spending time at The Point, where he captured thousands of beautiful photos, which he shared with the community. Brian had an immense passion for photography, music, and the arts.

A born again Christian, Brian had a deep love of God and always stated “I know where I’m going.”
