Bobby Anderson Gregory

Bobby Anderson Gregory, 90, of Dunkirk, died Friday, November 18, 2016, at
Brooks Memorial Hospital. He was born October 12, 1926 in Mississippi, son of the late Louis and Irene(Brown) Gregory. A Veteran of the US Army as a PFC, he served in Germany and received the WW II Victory Medal, the German Occupation Medal and most recently received the 2016 Chautauqua County Veterans Recognition Certificate on October 12, 2016, his 90 birthday. Bobby retired from Cliffstar Corporation as an over the road truck driver at the age of 70. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and had driven it over most of the USA. A very kind and giving person, he was know by everyone. Surviving are 3 nieces, a nephew all in Indiana, great nieces and great nephews also survive along with his adopted family and K 9 Companion "Dog". Preceded in death in addition to his parents is a sister Sallie Mae Brown Sharp in 1988. A committal prayer by Rev. Zoe White Milliman, along with a Veterans Military salute by Dunkirk Joint Veterans Council will be at Willowbrook Park Cemetery in Dunkirk on Friday at 10 AM at the Columbarium. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk.
