Betty J. Colletti

Betty J. Colletti, 93, of Hopewell, VA., formerly of Dunkirk, entered into rest Tuesday morning , October 8, 2019 in Virginia.

Born January 2, 1926, in Lockport, NY, daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Penwright) Kurtz.

Betty was the wife of the late Thomas W. Colletti who died August 1994.

She was an assistant at the former Gardinier-Colletti Memorial Home Inc. in Dunkirk.

Survived by her son Thomas (Cathy) Colletti of Hopewell, VA, Grandson Thomas J. (Christi) Colletti of Colonial Heights, VA, Granddaughter Marissa L. (Brendan) Lyon of Gainesville, VA, Great grandchildren Thomas W., Heather, Joseph and Nic Colletti, Mackenna, Christopher and Kasey Lyon, along with nieces and nephews who also survive. Preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband are her daughter in law Paula H. Colletti who died in 2008, a brother Frank Kurtz, and sisters Harriet Kennedy and Sally Shaver.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E Doughty Street in Dunkirk, where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 AM, officiating will be the Rev. Ray Donohue. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
