Anne Marie Kurgan

Anne Marie Kurgan, passed away Saturday morning, November 14, 2015, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 22, 1941, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late John and Edna (Cudney ) Draves. A lifelong resident of the area, Anne was a member of the United Seniors and Share and Care Seniors. Survivors include her daughter Kelly Carver, grandson Keith Carver, sister Margaret Larson, nephews Fred and William Larson, along with several cousins. Also surviving is her devoted companion Sam Sasso and four-legged furry friend Wanda Mae. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Kenneth Kurgan, sons Richard Ahlstrom and Kristopher Kurgan, brother John Draves, niece Ellen Chapman and grandniece Alana. Anne donated herself to the UB School of Medicine. There will be no calling hours.
