Obituary for Kimberle S. Bongiovanni

Kimberle Sue (Illenz) Bongiovanni, 54 of Dunkirk passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 following a four year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kim was born in Dunkirk NY, September 3rd, 1965 to the late Gary V. Illenz Sr. and Diane V. Lindemuth.

She graduated from Forestville Central School in 1984. She attended Jamestown Community College. She was recently employed at Amcor and Tim Horton’s leading up to her illness.

She was a member of the Dom Polski Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and watching the Food Network with her beloved cat Sylvester. She was considered a second mom by many of her son’s friends. She enjoyed going out to eat at Red Lobster and taking evening rides looking for wildlife with Bill.

She is survived by beloved fiance of William (Bill) Kubasik. Mother of David M. Bongiovanni Jr. and Matthew G. (Heather) Bongiovanni. Grandmother of Isabella, Blake and Gavin Bongiovanni.Sister of Gary V. (Wendy) Illenz Jr. of Silver Creek, Jennifer R. (Nick) Tampio-France of Forestville and Paul J. Illenz of Silver Creek. Aunt of Nicole D. Tampio, Hunter J. France and the late Dominic J. Tampio. Her extended family, Adam Kubasik, Amanda (David) Winchell, their children Tyler, Brody and Cooper.Brooke (Ben) Durfey, their children Emerson and Emery and the late Jameson Durfey, Lynn (Mark) Wisniewski, Kathy (Ken) Rook.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date To be announced.
