Jamie J. Pupenbroke, 64, of Fredonia passed away on Feb. 20, 2022, at Millard Fillmore Hospital.
He was born in Dunkirk, Oct. 7, 1957, the son of the late Fred and Virginia (Krystofiak) Pupenbroke.
A lifelong area resident, Jamie graduated with the DHS class of 1975.
He was in construction work with Labor Local 210 until he was injured in an industrial accident.
He was a member of the Lakeside Club and could frequently be found at Bart’s Cove.
Jamie liked football and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. As a true fan of classic rock, he has enjoyed innumerable Rock concerts over the years.
Recently he successfully began deer hunting again. Jamie especially loved spending winters at his Florida home.
Survivors include his brother, Fred (Cheryl) Pupenbroke of Carrollton, Texas; and sisters: Donna (Bill) Bamonto of Tampa, Fla., and Susan (Fred) McClelland of Dunkirk; daughters: Nichole Pupenbroke and Elizabeth Williams. Nephew of Pat Krystofik; also survived by five nieces, several cousins; and many special friends, especially, John Lugen who was always there for Jamie.
Relatives and friends may call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E. Doughty St., Saturday from 1-3 p.m., with a funeral service at 2 p.m. where memories can be shared.
