Gregory Bundy, 58, of Dunkirk, died unexpectedly, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, due to complications of COVID-19.

He was born in Okinawa, Japan, December 5, 1962, son of Earl and Rosa Lee (Menniefee) Bundy of Luray Va.

He graduated High School from Dover, New Hampshire where he leaves behind many life long friends and endless memories. He also left his mark in Columbus, Ohio where earned Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin University.

He was employed at Nestle Purina as a Logistics Manager, where he was more than an employee or a manager, he was a trusted and loyal and loyal friend.Greg was well known for his contagious smile and he was very skilled at shenanigans. He was an avid golfer and he participated and helped to expedite many tournaments. He will be remembered each time we hear New York, New York by Frank Sinatra , Sweet Caroline and Dexter Poindexters HOT, HOT, HOT!

Greg loved to travel and enjoyed planning trips and encouraging friends to join him, he was responsible for many first time experiences that will forever be in our hearts.

His memberships include The Dunkirk Fireman’s Exempts and the Moniuszko Club, where he was also an officer.

Surviving are his wife Barbara E. (Pryll) Bundy, children Meridith (Michael Bellisimo) Bundy of Florida, Joe (Cheryl Marshal) Bundy of Pittsburgh, brother Earl “Junior” (Angel Smith) Bundy Jr of Luray Va., step-children Juli (Orlando Vasquez) Dickerson, Lisa (Tim Sosinski) Dickerson, Wendi (Eric Creache) Dickerson all of Dunkirk, step grandchildren Joseph Brown, Chyann Creache, Mia Creach, Nathan Vasquez, JaeLyn Vasquez, Justin (Emily Brandt-Texidor) Texidor, great grandson Thor Texidor, brother in law of Rick Pryll of dunkirk Steve (Pauline) Pryll of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Marilyn Engwall of Dunkirk. Several cousins, nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles also survive as well as special friends Bob and Janet Nalepa and Debbie Ziegler and Roy Jesse. Sadly missed by Tequila and Bella his favorite good girls.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
