Eleanore Szwejbka, 94, of Dunkirk, died, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 22, 1927, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late John and Constance (Wesolowski) Mroczka.
She was a devoted homemaker.
Member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth.
Surviving are sons: Don (Mary Kay) Szwejbka of Fredonia, and David (Roberta) Szwejbka of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren: Michael (Julie) Szwejbka, Wendy (Angel) Gonzalez, Jennifer (Scooter) Clifford, Nicole (Justin) Glenn, Danielle (David) Hoff, Ryan (Nicole) Szwejbka; and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death in addition to her parents are her husband of 65 years, Albin J. Szwejbka, whom she married Aug. 20, 1949 and died May 29, 2015; and a brother, Joseph Mroczka.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday morning at 10 a.m., in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery.
