Adele Anzalone

February 24, 1925 — January 12, 2019

Adele Anzalone, 93, of Buffalo, died Saturday evening, January 12, 2019, at the Weinburg Campus Garden Greenhouse in Getzville.

She was born in Dunkirk, February, 24, 1925, daughter of the late John and Anna (Kupiec) Urbanik.

Adele was retired from J.C. Penny’s in Amherst.

Her memberships include St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Buffalo.

Surviving is her son Michael (June) Anzalone of Massachusetts, grandchildren Lauren Anzalone, PFC Stephen Anzalone US Army, brother Edward Urbanik of Dunkirk along with several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her husband of over 65 years, Philip R. Anzalone, sisters Sophie Loeb, Martha Lucas, Vickie Ryby, brothers Walter and Joseph Urbanik.

No prior visitation will be observed. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
